Hacienda Del Alamo Golf Resort
Hacienda Del Alamo Golf Resort, built in 1999, has been described by
many as the finest new resort in Spain. The golf course, designed by
renowned architect Dave Thomas, (The Belfry, San Roque, La Manga West to name
but a few) is a graphic illustration of the painstaking attention to detail
that has gone into the planning and construction of this magnificent resort.
The clubhouse was opened in November 2007 and has an A La Carte restaurant plus
a cafe bar/restaurant. The golf course hosts the PGA European Tour stage 2 qualifying school and is
the subject of consistent praise for both design and quality. Come and

The area of Murcia with its consistently great climate has everything from stunning beaches through historic cities of Murcia and Cartagena, countless new golf and holiday resorts and is rapidly becoming first choice for visitors to Spain.
The beaches of the Mar Menor and Puerto de Mazzaron are around 35 minutes drive.
The golf course at Hacienda Del Alamo is simply one of the best in Spain and is now a European Tour venue hosting PGA European Tour Qualifying School stage 2 in November 09 and 10.
Other courses within less than 45 minutes drive are the new Polaris courses Mar Menor, La Torre, El Valle Requelme and Condado also close are La Manga 3 courses, Desert Springs, Mosa Trajectum, Roda Golf, Corvera and many others.
Hacienda Del Alamo is deserving of its classification as the new number one resort in Spain.
The facilities at the resort are being developed almost daily and it now boasts a floodlit football pitch, tennis courts bowls greens and of course the 7400 yard Dave Thomas designed championship golf course plus a 6 hole training course and some of the best golf practice and academy facilities to be found anywhere.
The
local town of Fuente Alamo is a 5 minute drive and has plenty of bars clubs and
restaurant
The
Murcia region is served by 2 major airports Alicante approximately 1hr
20minutes away and San Javier Murcia Airport which is about 35 minutes away.
There are a large selection of carriers including Ryanair, Easyjet, Brirsh
Airways, Monarch, Jet2 and more. The new Murcia airport currently under
construction is only 15 minutes form the resort.
