Hacienda Del Alamo Golf Resort

Hacienda Del Alamo Golf Resort, built in 1999, has been described by many as the finest new resort in Spain. The golf course, designed by renowned architect Dave Thomas, (The Belfry, San Roque, La Manga West to name but a few) is a graphic illustration of the painstaking attention to detail that has gone into the planning and construction of this magnificent resort. The clubhouse was opened in November 2007 and has an A La Carte restaurant plus a cafe bar/restaurant. The golf course hosts the PGA European Tour stage 2 qualifying school and is the subject of consistent praise for both design and quality. Come and take a look you'll be impressed.

Directions from Alicante Airport:

Follow signs for Murcia on A7
At Murcia follow signs to Cartagena on the A30
DO NOT take the 1st sign you see for Fuente Alamo.
About 15 minutes from Murcia still on the A30 take Exit Km171 on to the RM2 motorway
At the end of the slip road take the 1st exit  towards  Alhama De Murcia and Fuente Alamo on to the RM2 signposted to Fuente Alamo

After about 8-10 minutes leave the RM2 at Exit Km 21, this exit is signposted to Hacienda Del Alamo
N.B. DO NOT take the 1st or 2nd exit to Fuente Alamo

At the end of the slip road take the 1st available exit which is signposted to Hacienda Del Alamo.
This is a service road which takes you back the way you have just come, parallel with the RM2 and with the RM2 to your right, drive slowly on this road as it has some serious pot holes.

At the end of the road and with a flyover directly above you turn left  (again signposted to Hacienda Del Alamo)  the resort is about  400 meters up on the right.
 
Directions from Murcia airport:

There are a number of ways from Murcia airport, the following may not be shortest or best but we believe it is the most straightforward.

From the airport follow the signs for Murcia on the C3319.
Once on this road travel for about 10 minutes then take the slip for Cartagena on the A30. This slip is from the left lane of the highway so once you see the sign move in to the left lane.

About 10 minutes after joining the A30 take Exit Km171 to the RM2 sign Fuente Alamo
At the end of the slip road take the 1st exit  towards  Alhama De Murcia and Fuente Alamo on to the RM2
